The Horror Honeys

Everyone has their own favorite version of one of the original bad boys of horror - the Werewolf. Indie feature [Wer](movie:2201533) takes the mythology of the werewolf and takes it to a whole new level...far from being a true creature feature, [Wer](movie:2201533) focuses instead on the human side of the werewolf mythology.

What's in the trailer: As with many indie features, the trailers are notorious for giving away much of the film, but in this case, it's not a bad thing. We get gore, some suspense, and the basic beginnings of a transformation, all of which make me want to see the full film. Transformations are what make werewolf films so special, and Wer's transformation, while simple, is extremely effective and plays on a basic fear that the werewolf embodies - that of releasing the beast within, and in Wer's case, that beast isn't that far below the surface.

A defense attorney begins to suspect that her client, who is charged with the murders of a vacationing family, might be more than meets the eye.

Released in November 2013 in Japan and with 2014 release dates in some extremely random locations around Europe and Asia and the Middle East, there is currently no US or UK release date listed for [Wer](movie:2201533) - will YOU be hunting this beast down?
