Syfy is jumping on board with the zombie trend and this is the synopsis for the show that is on their YouTube video:

Z Nation starts three years after the zombie virus has gutted the country, a team of everyday heroes must transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. Although the antibodies he carries are the world’s last, best hope for a vaccine, he hides a dark secret that threatens them all. With humankind’s survival at stake, the ragtag band embarks on a journey of survival across three thousand miles of rusted-out post-apocalyptic America.
Z-Nation stars Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott, DJ Qualls, Michael Welch, Kellita Smith, Anastasia Baranova, Russel Hodgkingson, and Keith Allan. Karl Schaefer will service as executive producer and show runner.

The show premieres on September 12th and is gearing up from my guess for the Halloween season in October. This will be going head to head with The Walking Dead, which is the juggernaut of zombie shows. Hopefully this show does well because it doesn't look horrible, it has promise of going far if they do well with the script writing. And I never judge a show by the pilot because things change, like actors get fired and new ones get hired to play a the same character all the time in television. So by episode two who knows if the show will be good or not.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for this to be good.

Zombie fans, would you watch this show or go shuffle along to TWD?
