We all know Lori Grimes was a controversial character at best and there was a significant segment of the viewership that called for her violent demise, until it finally arrived.
During an interview with IGN, actress Sarah Wayne Callies compared the action on The Walking Dead to that of Into the Storm, saying,
There's a sense that you can fight Walkers and win, you can't kill a tornado.
She then went on to speak about interacting with passionate a fanbase, saying,
So much of what we do as actors promoting something, you deal a lot with the press, or you shoot into the void and hope people like what you're doing...At [a place like] Comic Con you have them right across the table saying, 'Hey, I love what you're doing' or 'I hate everything about you!'
When asked what it was like for her to experience that kind of backlash as an actress, Callies said,
Actually, I think it's wonderful. I think it's really honest. I come from theater...there's something about having a relationship with your audience that feels very honest as an actor. I don't need people to like me. I want people to engage with the stories I'm telling and feel passionate about them. So if they're feeling passionate about them one way or another, I feel like I'm doing my job.
[Into the Storm](movie:333178) is in theaters now!
