Spoilers from the first season of Agents of Shield is ahead of you, so you have been warned!

Still here? Perfect. Alright so when Agents of Shield first came out we had high hopes for it. Maybe too high. It was a bit of a let down in the beginning, but I continued watching and when they delved more into the Clairvoyant it got somewhat interesting. But when Hydra has revealed itself to have infiltrated Shield from the very beginning, those episode were awesome! Especially with Grant Ward being a Hydra Agent. But alas, Shield is gone... or so we think. Nick Fury has given Agent Phil Coulson the first brick to rebuild Shield and restore it to it's glory. Tough job, but Director Coulson is up for it and is more than determined. Of course if he stops sleep walking and writing some weird alien (possibly Kree) language or code, it could possibly be easier.

But [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](series:722469) is a show that will continue to tease us and give us easter eggs. So Season 2 will be a fun ride with great new cast members.

First up we have Adrienne Palicki who will play famous Shield Agent Mockingbird. Following her will be Lucy Lawless who will be playing Isabelle Hartley, a veteran Shield Agent who will be introduced in the MCU. We also have Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mac" Mackenzie, another Agent of Shield.

Now we go to the antagonist where we have Nick Blood play Lance Hunter a ruthless mercenary probably working for Hydra. Then we have Simon Kassiandes who will play Bakshi (No idea what that means) a Agent of Hydra and right hand man of... Kraken who will be portrayed by Reed Diamond who will be the main antagonist.

Seems like a fun cast. There creating new characters and bringing to life not well known comic characters to add more flare. It's worked out so far in the past, Harley Quinn, Phil Coulson and... Harley Quin and Phil Coulson haha. But I have a feeling this will be better than its predecessor season.

But there are so many other characters they could introduce and/or make brief cameos. So let's delve into that and see the characters and the actors who should play them. (Some of them)

Let's start of with Agents of Shield.

Sharon Carter (Agent 13)

Emily VanCamp was great as Agent 13 even if her role was minor. She is the perfect character to bring back for an episode or 2. and if there is a 3rd season I want her a cast member.

Clint Barton (Hawkeye)

Come one guys we always wanted him to appear and now that we have a Mockingbird it seems more likely. I would love to see the tension between him and Mockingbird, plus adding an Avenger to the show for at least an episode will make it MUCH better.

Eric O'Grady/Joel McHale

Eric O'Grady

That's right folks we have another Ant-Man in the MCU. Although he probably won't be playing Ant-Man, Eric O'Grady can still exist in the MCU and he could be the newest scientist to work alongside Simmons since it is still unclear what has happened to Fitz. He could be a great scientist but a major douche, like the comics, and no one likes him but the team still needs him. Maybe they use him for a couple episodes, at least until Fitz comes back ok, IF he comes back that is.

Joel McHale is known for playing a douche in community, so he's all set. Haha. With a good script Joel McHale could be our Eric O'Grady.

Clay Quartermain/Jensen Ackles

Clay Quartermain
Clay Quartermain

Clay Quartermain is veteran agent of Shield. A great agent and an even better ladies man. He could possibly be the ex-lover Agent May perhaps? I would like to see that. And in the comics he was the ex of Jessica Jones who is also going to have her own Netflix series, so it only makes sense to bring him in now.

Come on Jensen Ackles is always the smooth, good guy, pretty boy. He's perfect for this role.

Jessica Drew/Anna Kendrick

Jessica Drew
Jessica Drew

Jessica Drew was an Agent of Shield before she was Spider-Woman. This show could very be part of her origin stories. She could've once been a field agent known as "The Spider". She could be part of a failed experiment or some weird alien technology, who knows the possibilities of this are endless! She is a character I would very much like to see.

Anna Kendrick should definitely play a super-heroine and Jessica Drew is the best choice for her, in my opinion.

Now we move over to the Agents of Hydra!

Alright so these are characters and villains we could see through out the series and even a character might make a quick cameo.

Baron Wolfgang von Strucker

Yes, the new leader of Hydra. All I would want is a quick cameo of him speaking to the Kraken in the mid-season finale. That's all. Fanboys everywhere will go ballistic if it happens.

Elihas Starr (Egghead)/Eric Stonestreet

Elihas Starr
Elihas Starr

Yes, yes, I know. Egghead is probably one of the worst Marvel villains out there, but here me out. He's a horrible villain because all he wants to do is copy Pym's work, but for the show let's make a new take on the villain. A more mad scientist type of guy. Imagine if Fitz-Simmons were agents of Hydra. That's Egghead, better yet, just call him Elihas and make Coulson or Skye call him Egghead as a joke.

As for the actor, Eric Stonestreet is a funny guy, but I want to see a more dramatic side to him. I want to see him ACT, and this could be the role, even if the character is horrible, tv can make him, dare I say it, cool. Just think about it.

Eric Williams (The Grim Reaper) /Jared Padalecki

Eric Williams
Eric Williams

In the comics Eric Williams was an Agent of Hydra and was actually in charge of the New York division. I do not see reason on why they should not do that. Have him in the show normal and everything. In fact his code name or whatever could be Reaper. (Sounds cooler) and when the Agents of Shield stop him, they escape from an exploding building lets say leaving him inside and the explosion severs his right arm. And later on in the show the end credits could be him getting his signature weapon. One thing however is his costume definitely needs to be modernized. Even in comic standards it looks ridiculous, so they'll need to fix that. Plus if he's in the show that just proves that Wonder Man is also in the MCU and I would like to see him.

Now I am a huge Supernatural fan and I think Jared Padalecki is solid for this role. A young and strong Hydra leader who see's himself as the tragic hero, (at least in the comics) This guy is good to go.

Bob, Agent of Hydra/Noel Fisher

Bob

This is one character I would love to see brought to life and this is the perfect place to do it. Bob could be a new recruit member of Hydra and is the SO of Bashiki. The show has a comedic tone and adding Bob will only make it better. Plus it would be hilarious watching Bob and Coulson talk smack to each other.

Despite what people might say, I enjoyed the TMNT reboot and Michelangelo was hilarious to me. And I thought Noel Fisher comedy would be perfect for Bob.

Tony Masters (Taskmaster)/ Damian Lewis

This. Guy. Is. Awesome! One of my favorite villains. This guy can just study your moves once and he will fight like you and even better. He was once an agent of Shield but he went rogue one mission and has been on Shield's radar ever since. He could be a mercenary or better an agent of Hydra! This is one character I would love to see come to life. I would also love to see him in the next Captain America film. This guy is awesome!

And Damian Lewis, the dude is perfect. I'm currently watching Homeland where he is fantastic and he was amazing in Band of Brothers. This guy can act and he is the perfect actor to bring Taskmaster to life.

Alright that just about does it for this article. Let me know what you think. And I will probably make another post on who should be in the new show Agent Carter.
