As we all seen in [The Avengers](movie:9040), the heroes were kind of hostile towards each other which made the movie more interesting (realistic). We saw Iron man vs Thor, Thor vs Hulk and even got to see the Captain lace it up with the Asgardian outcast, Loki.
Now us Captain America fans have to admit, Steve Rogers got his ass handed to him with Loki until Tony Stark came to give him a hand. And we can make an argument that Loki is not of this earth so he must have some kind of abnormal strength while Steve Rogers was just thawed from ice and was a bit rusty.
Now to just have a little fun with this and start are thread on here, who would win in a rematch?
In [Thor: The Dark World](movie:206462), we saw Loki locked up in a prison from the events in The Avengers. Later on Thor helps Loki escape to fiend off the Dark Elves and their leader Makelith (whatever his name is). And I gotta tell ya' I didn't know Loki had that fighters' instinct in him when he took down those dark elves with ease. Was he working out while he was locked up?
Now in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973), we have to admit, Steve Rogers has gotten a MAJOR upgrade with his fighting style from when he was in Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers. This guy dismantles trained shield agents in a elevator! And literally came damn near to killing the pirates on the ship with one blow. Lets not forget he went toe to toe with the Winter Soldier. Has he taken steroids since The Avengers?
This is just speculation, but if Steve Rogers of present day went up against Loki of present day again, who would be the victor in a deathmatch? Why?
