When the Halo 5 Guardians trailer dropped, fans saw Master Chief stumbling through a sandy wasteland wrapped in a ragged cloak, before an enormous owl like promethean rises from the ground and looms over him.
Fans have speculated about much from the trailer, asking questions like: Where is Master Chief? Is he attempting to restore Cortana? Some people have pointed out that Owls generally symbolize wisdom, which would hint that Master Chief is attempting to restore the AI of Cortana.
Others have countered this saying that Owls symbolize strategy, and therefore, war.
