In little over a month, fans will be able to see the premier of The Flash for the first time! Well that's, if you didn't already watch the leaked episode, or seen it at Comic-Con. If you did I should remind you to still watch it on the premier as it will help the ratings. Since it was announced the show would be get picked up for a full season, news about The Flash came pouring out. Episode names, casting announcement, plot details, you name it! One thing i'm particularly excited about is the fact that heroes and villains can jump between The Flash and Arrow because they're in the same universe. In fact we already know William Tockman aka "Clock King" will appear in episode 7 of The Flash. Below is 5 heroes that could appear in The Flash.
First on the list is Booster Gold! Booster would be a great and logical addition to The Flash. Especially with his Time Travel history. Grant Gustin and the writers of the show have hinted that time travel could be used this season. Also if you did see the leaked pilot, then you should know it can be used as well. Other than that Booster Gold could be a hero, that's just in it for the fame. Below is a clip that defines Booster Gold. His attitude his origin everything in a nutshell. This scene is what makes him one of my favourite superheroes.
I love the partnership between Skeets and Booster, and felt devastated when skeets had that apparent death. Lol
Elongated man is arguably Barry's best superhero friend, next to Green Lantern. He was partially created by editor Julius Schwartz, who ironically wanted a new supporting character for the Flash. His origin from the comics is: As a teenager, Ralph Dibny was fascinated by contortionists, or people who displayed feats of agility and suppleness. He learned that all of the body-benders he spoke with drank a popular soda called "Gingold." Ralph set to work learning chemistry and developed a super-concentrated extract of the rare "gingo" fruit of the Yucatan, which gave him his elasticity. He moves to Central City home of The Flash, and then creates his superhero costume and becomes the super hero known as Elongated man. In The Flash. Ralph can be a unique character. He could be the first super powered hero, who wanted the fate. He could also be the first that gained his powers without "help" from the S.T.A.R Labs explosion. Overall Ralph could make a great friendship with Barry. Below is clips of Elongated Man in JLU, which features a funny scene with The Flash.
This choice was a bit hard just because of how powerful Captain Atom really is. But I have come up with a story of how he could be introduced. General Wade Eiling is set to appear on The Flash as a recurring character. He will be the head of a Black Ops army team hunting down meta humans. In the comics Nathaniel Adams (Captain Atom) was an air force pilot. For the show I'll change him into a Black Ops member. In The Flash, members of the Black Ops army team were sent to the unveiling of the Particle Accelerator to make sure everything would go off without a problem. And also just because it was such a huge event. When things started going wrong Adams ordered his men to get civilians clear, while he went underground to try and get the scientist out. Adams failed and was caught in the heart of the explosion. When the army went in to find survivors they found everyone dead but Adams, who was unconscious with his whole body covered in third degree burns. The army kept it a secret and moved him to an army base to recover. When Adams wakes up his body heals itself but replaces his normal skin with organic metal. He realizes he has powers. His atoms are constantly splitting and then reforming just as quickly, releasing massive amounts of energy. This surplus of power can be manipulated in a number of ways such as flight and the ability to transmute physical matter. He can also absorb massive amounts of energy. Nathaniel Adams is now an energy-based life form. Wade Eiling the new leader of the army Black Ops team which now hunts meta humans, offers Adams a place on the team, which he accepts. Essentially Captain Atom can be that universes superman.
Bart Allen / Wally West
Ok I cheated at the end of the list there will be 6 superheroes that could appear on The Flash. One thing I hope The Flash does is introduce Wally West. He doesn't need to gain his superhero alias this season. Look at Roy in Arrow. He's just now getting his superhero costume in season 3. So they can wait on Kid Flash. But I would like to see Wally even acknowledged. If you don't know, he is the nephew if Iris West, so that's an easy way of bringing him into the show. I think it would be cool if Wally had a "I could care less" attitude. In which Wally doesn't care about the news and praise of The Flash. But when Wally gains his powers later he understands that with great power comes great responsibility. His attitude can also be very different from Roy who worshiped Arrow. Impulse the speedster from the future is also a potential character that could appear. Barry and Iris's grandson Bart. Could be introduced via time travel. Again the show had hinted time travel could be used so its possible. Having these 3 in the show could potentially create scenes like this.
Last but not least, Cyborg. This seems the most obvious as Victor Stone's father made him Cyborg at S.T.A.R Labs after Victor suffered critical injuries. In the show Dr.Harrison Wells could make Cyborg instead of Victor Stone's father. Victor could be a hospital patient who lost majority of his body in the explosion. Or something tragic could happen later on in the series.
I also have an article of top 5 characters that could appear in Arrow if you want to check it out.
