Yes I am a Tarantino fan and yes I know he's made better films than this. But I'll get to them soon. I watched 'Jackie Brown' again as I wanted to remind myself how much of an interesting film this is. If you observe closely Quentin Tarantino writes really great stories in his screenplays and it's all about the dialogue, I've noticed, within his films. Not to forget a lot of BLOOD too! He is really good with his dialogue and having his characters talk to one another naturally as if they are having a general conversation unscripted.
The film Jackie Brown is about a women of the same name played by Pam Grier who is a flight attendant for a small Mexican airline. She smuggles money from Mexico over to the states for a gun dealer named Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson). He's also being closely watched by the police. After Jackie gets caught up by the police, Ordell releases her. She is then picked up out of jail by a bondsman Max Cherry (Robert Forster) who then develops an attraction to her.
I really enjoyed this film and found it interesting to watch, like I said Tarantino loves his conversations in his films and sometimes when you focus on the words the film takes a different approach entirely. Very much recommend this film, so please do check it out!
