Speculating potential real life versions of Disney Princes* is a hobby of mine. Well, not so much a hobby as an excuse to look at beautiful men on the internet. Can you really blame me? I mean, this is like my equivalent of fantasy football. So come along with me as I draft my dream actors to play the men of Disney cartoons!

*I know that these are not all technically princes, but I feel like a lot of them are still important (fun) to include.

Aladdin (Aladdin)

Ahh, Aladdin. Everyone's favorite riffraff, street rat, and scoundrel. Let's see who should play this pauper turned prince!

Avan Jogia

Known for his roles in Victorious and Twisted, Avan Jogia just looks so much like Aladdin I couldn't even think of casting anyone else! He's got the perfect mix of boyish charm and mystery to pull off being Aladdin.

Peter Pan (Peter Pan)

Between the stage performances, Jeremy Sumpter, and the late Robin Williams, we already have our fair share of Peter Pans. But I have another idea in case they decide to revamp the live-action movies.

Cameron Monaghan

The name Cameron Monaghan is definitely coming up in the entertainment world. In 2014 alone he had two major movies come out, [Vampire Academy](movie:609357) and [The Giver](movie:723657). Not to mention, he looks just like Peter Pan. Someone had better make this movie before he gets too old to play the boy who never grew up!

Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid)

Personally, I have always been a Prince Eric girl, so there's really only one person I could image playing him...

Matt Bomer

Honestly, do I even need to say anything to justify my reasoning here? Matt Bomer can realistically play any of the Disney Princes with that face, those eyes, and that hair. He is absolutely flawless. Actually, his one flaw is that he will never be mine *sobs*.

John Smith (Pocahontas)

John Smith was another difficult choice. Not because there were so many other options, but just because I don't know of any actors who have hair this dang yellow. No, not blond. Yellow. But then I remembered that hair dye exists. Also that John Smith is of the Disney cartoon family, meaning that all hair-expectations would be unreasonable.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Nikolaj already shares a lot of characteristics with John Smith on [Game of Thrones](movie:817617) (other than the whole sister thing). He comes off as a jerk initially, but he's a softy when it comes to the people he cares about. Eventually, you learn to love him and his incredible bone structure even when he's being an ass.

Prince Phillip (Sleeping Beauty)

Prince Phillip is probably the most princely looking of all of the Disney princes. The man is pretty. That's why the real life casting must be equally as pretty!

Armie Hammer

Armie might actually be a prince in real life, but we just don't know it yet. I mean, you don't get a smile like that when you're just some commoner like myself! I know that he played Prince Alcott in [Mirror, Mirror](movie:255626), but I always thought he'd be a much better as a live-action Prince Phillip. He could walk with me once upon a dream all day, every day for all of the days.

Li Shang (Mulan)

Oh General Shang. You could make a man out of me any day!

Godfrey Gao

I'm not going to lie to you guys, this suggestion came from the lovely internet. If you haven't already, you need to do yourself a huge favor and just Google then ogle. This Taiwanese Canadian-born actor/model is unreal. Also, huge props to you Godfrey, your brow game is strong.

Prince Charming (Cinderella)

Do you think Prince Charming's parents waited until he was born to name him that? Like, he probably just stared into his parents eyes during his infancy and they changed his name from "Kyle" to "Charming" for obvious reasons.

Henry Cavill

Since I mentioned that Matt Bomer could be just about any prince on this list, I also had to include his lookalike Henry Cavill. Yes, I'm sure he's very busy with [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) and all, but if he could just be super in more way than one way and play Prince Charming for us that be greeeeeeat.

Flynn Rider (Tangled)

I just realized that Flynn Rider is the only prince on this list who has facial hair! All I know is that it's important that I get the nose right on this one.

Zachary Levi

Seriously who else could I pick but Zachary Levi? Yes, there are a bunch of other actors who look like Flynn, but would they act like Flynn? Is the nose right? Could they pull off the smolder? Probably not as well as Flynn's O.G. voice actor.

Prince Naveen (The Princess and the Frog)

Okay, here we have the relatively ethnically ambiguous Maldonian hunk that is Prince Naveen. Do I need to also pick a lookalike frog for this one?

Daniel Sunjata

There we have it! Look at Daniel's chin and then look back at Prince Naveen's chin. It's the same strong chin! Daniel Sunjata is known for his roles in [The Dark Knight Rises](movie:39011) and Rescue Me. He has also been nominated for a Tony and won a Theater World Award for his work in the Broadway production Take Me Out.

Prince Florian (Snow White)

Did you know that the Prince's name from Snow White is Prince Florian? I just learned that today. Not sure why he always looks like he has no nose and is wearing lipstick, but whoever would play him would have to be able to sing.

Darren Criss

This sweet Gleek would be great as Prince Florian! I always found this prince to be lacking somewhat in the personality department, so it'd be awesome to see him in real life played by someone like Darren Criss who has boatloads of personality. And like Daniel Sunjata, we know he's got the pipes for the role!

The Beast/Prince Adam (Beauty and the Beast)

So we need someone with blue eyes, that can pull off long hair and ripped shirts. Well, that makes things easy!

Chris Hemsworth

Bam! I defy you to find someone better than Chris Hemsworth for this one. Lots of actors can be princes, but how many of them can also play a beast? That's why Chris would be great! He can be princely and pleasant, but as we know from the Thor and [The Avengers](movie:9040) films, he's also not to be messed with.

Kristoff (Frozen)

This mountaineering ice harvester is a little rough around the edges at first, but also quite warm and silly.

Chord Overstreet

A lot of these princes were hotly debated around the writers table while this was being made. But we all agreed that Chord would make a great Kristoff! He has the perfect blond mop of hair and is really funny in real life. This isn't to say that Scott Michael Foster won't do a great job as Kristoff on [Once Upon a Time](series:720994), but I would love to see Chord hanging out with Sven!

Prince Hans (Frozen)

Prince Hans, the prince we all love to hate. This would have to be an actor who is able to make our feelings for him go from hot to cold in seconds flat (pun totally intended).

Alexander Pettyfer

We know Alexander from the films [Endless Love](movie:902075) and [Magic Mike](movie:203046). While I feel like it might be difficult to hate real life Hans when he has a face like that, I think he would be able to make it work!

Let's keep in mind that this list is in no way exhaustive. That's the beauty of the fantasy Disney Prince draft! We can all have totally different opinions, and these are just mine. That being said: I would love to hear who you would cast as real life Disney Princes! Let me know who you would want in which roles below.
