He may have wrapped on Sons Of Anarchy, but Charlie Hunnam shows no signs of stopping.
It was announced back in May that Guy Ritchie was in talks with Warner Bros. to create an epic, six film cycle charting the Arthurian legends, and now it seems he's found his Arthur.
Hunnam is reportedly the director's first choice to play the legendary king, who looks a bit like this (sorta): Fierce.
Then came the news that resident heartbreaker Idris Elba was set to play a Merlin-esque character who is emphatically not Merlin. Not one bit. Uhuh.
Elba will play a mentor to Hunnam's Arthur, and we can imagine it will involve a lot of heavy breathing.
Hunnam is certainly a fitting choice, having made his name as Jax Teller, the conflicted king figure of a rebel biker gang on Sons of Anarchy.
The first instalment of the six film series is slated for July 2016, but until then, the questions of who will accompany Hunnam on his journey to 1350s Middle England remain.
Here's our pick of the potential cast:
Guinevere - Natalie Portman
Arthur's leading lady needs to be classy, cool under pressure and as beautiful as she is badass. Enter Portman, who's a bonafide all rounder - Harvard graduate, Oscar winner and beautiful to boot.
Uther Pendragon - Bryan Cranston
Arthur's dad was a pretty conflicted guy; an outwardly good king who supposedly tricked the wife of his sworn enemy Gorlois into sleeping with him the same night his troops were murdering her husband. Ouch. Is there anyone that can do good cop/bad cop better than Bryan Cranston?
Morgan Le Fay - Kaya Scodelario
The British actress most known for playing the rebellious Effie in Skins is on the rise, with a starring role in new fantasy franchise The Maze Runner. If she finds the time, she'd be perfect for the part of raven-haired evil sorceress Morgan Le Fay.
Lancelot - Robert Pattinson
Although he's shying away from his squeaky clean Twilight days, we all know that R-Patz is a noble heart underneath, and who better for Arthur's most loyal knight Lancelot?
