We've been given a glimpse into the future! The latest behind-the-scenes look at The Walking Dead focused on the amazing locations we can expect to see in Season 5, and let me tell you, it looks like these locations will make it the best season yet.

Location Manager Michael Reilly described the challenges of shooting on location now that the gang is moving back into an urban environment.

Check out some of the locations we can expect to see in Season 5:

1) Train tracks

We caught a glance of Rick, accompanied by Abraham and Eugene on the train tracks. They look like they're once again on the march, probably toward the city. We can probably assume that this happens directly after whatever-it-is goes down at Terminus.

Bonus shot of the cast messing around:

2) Fire station

In a land completely devoid of law makers and peace keepers (well, Sheriff Rick tries his hardest) it's always weird to see places like fire stations so derelict. This scene doesn't look as though it's in a big urban area so perhaps it's in a smaller town that the group passes through.

Also, we know the one thing that Fire Stations would have plenty of is axes and we did see Rick wielding a rather large ax in the latest EW photoshoot...

3) Highway

Heading back to the main highways and roads would be the quickest way for the gang to make their way back to the city, perhaps they could even pick up some new wheels seeing as the beloved Hyundai Tuscon was thoughtlessly abandoned at the prison.

4) The city!

Yes, yes, yes! Return to civilization! I've been waiting for this for ages. I understand the appeal of the farm, the prison, the countryside but c'mon, we all know some serious s**t is gonna go down when they get back to the city.

I'm definitely predicting a few groups of survivors are lurking around the city perimeters and at some point in Season 5 Rick or Daryl will utter some variation of 'this town ain't big enough for the both of us'.

Bonus: Zombies

Hmm, I would have though they'd be looking a bit more gruesome and munted in Season 5 but I'm guessing most of the special effects is done in post production.

It might be worth pointing out that the top zombies do seem to be placed next to a train container which looks like the one the group is trapped in at Terminus, but that is pure speculation!

So there you have it, all the sneak location peeks I could squeeze out of the AMC behind-the-scenes video. If you're interested you can catch the whole thing over here.

Make sure you tell me what location you're looking forward to the most in the comments!
