Godzilla, (2014) was really great except for one thing. Personally I hated the creature design of the nuclear material thriving MUTOs.

Director Gareth Edwards deserves a good handshake for his refreshing take on Godzilla, focusing severely on the tone, technicality and sonic design. There’s something about Bryan Cranston that makes the whole movie serious every time he shouts and weeps trapped behind a thick glass shield. Too bad he had to die (oops, spoilers for those who still haven’t caught up with the movie yet).

Okay now, so the opening credits – when I saw these ‘thinly veiled’ opening credits for the 1st time, I thought it was just another creative feature of the editor doodling his way through After Effects. But no need to strain your eye, thanks to Mr. Michael Armendariz who works at a movie theater; he transcribed every credit frame-by-frame during a tech check.

Enjoy these loosely funny and well-written credits. Also a ‘Breaking Bad’ Easter egg #11. Do watch the film!

P.S: Tweaked the photos to make it more visible :)
