Being one of the very best shows on television - if not THE best show on television - Game of Thrones is recognized worldwide for its many interesting elements. One element that stands out really well is all the visual effects that make the world of Westeros and Essos look so stunning and realistic. And the group responsible for said visual effects for season four was Rodeo FX.
From utilizing 3-D technology to create the largest city in Slaver's Bay, Meereen, to utilizing very complex CG animations for Stannis' invasion north of The Wall, Rodeo FX helped make season four extremely memorable. And thanks to the outstandingly talented individuals over at the company, Game of Thrones earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special and Visual Effects (FINALLY!!!).
