There have been nude images of celebrities leaked on the internet. The pictures were taken by celebrities from their phones for personal use. Some of them commented on the issue.
Victoria Justice proved that the pictures of her are fake by re-tweeting this tweet.

Jennifer Lawrence's Publicist, Liz Mahoney, calls the posts "a flagrant violation of privacy". Jennifer has asked authorities to prosecute whoever is posting the photos.
Kate Upton's Lawyer said the following
"This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton's privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible."
Stealing and distributing photos without permission could carry a jail sentence. In 2012, a man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for releasing private photos of Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis. FBI is after the hacker even though they avoided any comments on the subject.
