Marking the first time the actors have appeared onscreen together since their criminal breakout drama concluded in 2009, Prison Break stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are guest starring as villains in a Season 1 episode of the CW's The Flash.
THR is reporting that Purcell has been cast as Heat Wave - pretty cool when you remember they cast his Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold in July. Miller will reportedly make
His debut in episode four. Purcell's character will also be heard from in that same episode.
So, although both of these characters may be non-powered villains, Lincoln and Michael will be reunited as the fire and ice ends of The Flash's Rogues gallery.
As you might suspect, Heat Wave is a pyromaniac. He just loves watching things burn. But he meets his match in Leonard Snart (that's Captain Cold to you and I). The duo have worked together in the DC Comics and will be doing the same on the show.
Speaking of working relationships, Purcell's best known for his role as Lincoln Burrows on Prison Break. Captain Cold's portrayer, Wentworth Miller, also appeared on the show as Burrow/Purcell's brother Michael Scofield.
Dominic and Wentworth also join fellow Prison Break star Robert Knepper who will also pop up in the CW show this season, reprising the role of The Clock King whom he played in Arrow.
I've loved every bit of casting news for this show so far. Now I'm just hoping for Amaury Nolasco and William Fichtner to round out the group... And a story about how Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Clock King and Count Vertigo broke out of a Prison... Prison Break: Super Villains.
