I'm sure you've already heard that Star Wars is supposed to be allegory for World War II. I'm not quite sure if that's entirely true - or exactly who or what Jar Jar Binks is supposed to represent - but I can certainly see it making some sense.

Regardless of its veracity, one plucky artist has decided to mash the two major conflicts together in a new series of photoshopped images. In it we see American G.Is and aircraft fighting against and/or with the Galactic Empire. Check them out below:
