Fans of men in skirts will be pleased to know that Ridley Scott has been busy creating epic Exodus: Gods and Kings, starring Christian Bale as Moses.
Bale plays the saviour of Egypt in the retelling of the uprising against the Pharaoh Rameses, which also features Sigourney Weaver, Aaron Paul, Joel Edgerton and John Turturro.
Y'know - because casting black actors in a film set in Africa would be one step towards realism too far for Mr Ridley.
^ That awkward moment when Michael Jackson is more historically accurate than you.
Ridley is aiming the big guns at the adaptation, which he says will "explore the complexity" of Moses. To create a setting as epic as the tale itself, the director has recruited 4,000 extras and 700 crew.
The behind-the-scenes footage is pretty cool, showing the set building in action and the gigantic scale of the production. "Epic" is definitely the operative word.
