Yeah, I've missed Arrow too. After a crazy season finale with dozens of Deathstrokes facing off against Ollie's Army, many of us have been wondering where the show is going to go from here.
Arsenal (not Red Arrow, for some weird reason) teaming up with the Arrow? Speedy being trained by Merlyn? And just which Lance is Black Canary?
Well, we'll have to wait until October to find out. The episode is entitled "The Calm," and features some hints to the aftermath of Season 2's epic finale.
What we do know is that the Arrow is now considered the hero of Starling City, which is a departure from his previous reputation as a killer vigilante.
We also know that Quentin Lance has been promoted to Captain (which makes sense since almost every other police officer was tragically killed last season), and he's calling off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force.
Hopefully, we'll find out why Roy is already Arsenal, rather than Red Arrow. In the comics, he was Speedy first (which was delegated to Ollie's sister, sort of, and then called out to Roy offhand by Ollie in Season 2 of the show), then became Red Arrow when he went solo. Ultimately, he becomes Arsenal, who is a fighter with more high-tech weaponry. Does that mean this version of Arsenal will have the same? Who knows.
Oh! And Oliver is apparently going to ask Felicity out. Like on a date and stuff. That's new.
But of course, all of this happiness and peace will be upset when a villain "reappears" (not sure who yet) and forces Ollie and friends from their well-deserved vacation.
Season 3 of 'Arrow' premieres Wednesday, October 8 on The CW.
