Well, it looks like a Prison Break reunion is coming to TV - on The Flash anyway.
Dominic Purcell has been cast in the upcoming Arrow spin-off as DC Comics villain Mick Rory, also known as the Flash Rogue Heat Wave.
Thus Purcell will be reuniting with his Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller in the 10th episode of the highly anticipated series. This will mark the first time both Purcell and Miller, who played brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield, will have appeared together since Prison Break ended back in 2009.
His character, Mick Rory, is described as a pyromaniac who finds an outlet for his obsession with fire when he teams up with Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Miller) and becomes the villain known as Heat Wave. Miller was cast back in July and will appear in the show's fourth episode, where Purcell's character will also be heard from.
DC Comics readers will remember Heat Wave as a member of The Rogues. He has appeared in numerous DC Comics titles and on such programs as Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Purcell is the latest addition to a guest cast that includes Clancy Brown as General Wade Eiling and Tomorrow People's Robbie Amell as one-half of Firestorm. The first episode features a cameo appearance by Arrow star Stephen Amell, while episode four will feature Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity crossing over to Central City. The eighth episodes of Arrow and The Flash will be a two-hour crossover event.
If you ask us, this cast just keeps getting better and better!
