Fury's new trailer including Brad Pitt on a tank released
This September has been by far the slowest film month of the year. Don't fret, there are a bunch of unique movies coming your way this fall. On the surface a World War II movie starring Brad Pitt (Inglorious Basterds) might seem awfully familiar, however, early buzz on the the upcoming film, Fury, is that it has a lot to offer.
The film centers on a band of five soldiers who operate a tank in Germany, in 1945. It is directed and written by David Ayer (End of Watch), so viewers should expect a gritty, action-packed, character study if his past filmography is an indication. The word has been that each member of the five-man team, Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Shia Lebeouf, Michael Pena, and Jon Berenthal are all well-written and each get moments to shine. Ayer's past films have had extremely visceral violence. that feels threateningly close. The footage from the trailer shows the WWII setting to be a good complement with his style.
