When it comes to Game of Thrones, we probably shouldn't be too surprised by anything at this point. It's the sort of show where anyone could die at any moment - and, since the show is moving further and further away from the original source novels, the element of surprise is lurking for even the most die-hard fan.

Sometimes, though, those surprises can take the form of appearances rather than disappearances. For instance, Kristian Nairn's recent revelation that Hodor wouldn't be appearing in Season 5 may have come as something of a shock, but what's arguably more surprising is that - according to Isaac Hempstead-Wright - Bran will be returning.

Without, it seems, his burly protector.

Hempstead-Wright's revelation that he would in fact be returning came while he was promoting his new movie The Boxtrolls - as shown in the video below:

Which is all well and good and all, but what does this mean for Hodor?
