The upcoming season pass for Lego Batman 3 - titled Beyond Gotham - is full of surprises for DC Movie fans this time around. Releasing in November with a cost of $14.99, the season pass promises six add-ons in total, three of which haven't been announced yet. The first three, though, are based on some savory fan-favorite themes: The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, and Batman's 75th anniversary. Basically, everything is awesome.

Awesome.
Awesome.

The exclusive screenshot below comes to us courtesy of YouTube's Blitzwinger and shows off some of the villains you might encounter within LEGO's The Dark Knight DLC. Here, we see Bane, The Joker, Two-Face, and Ra's al Ghul.

Sassy.
Sassy.

It's always nice to see a nod to Heath Ledger's Joker, and despite this not exactly being an in-game memorial to him, I think fans will be pleased at what kind of trouble the Joker cooks up during the DLC. We've only seen Ledger's LEGO double in his nurse outfit thus far, though it's pretty easy to assume that his standard movie costume will be included as well. Along with this fearsome foursome, I think we'll see some of Batman's lesser adversaries popping up over the course of the DLC packs as well. You'll also see Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, equipped with her extremely badass bike.

Another gift for fans is the Man of Steel pack, which comes with Superman's parents and his Man of Steel adversary, General Zod. On top of new characters, players will also find new weapons, adventures and vehicles (including Catwoman's bike and the Nolanverse Batmobile/tumbler) to navigate the game with.

Teamwork!

For those of us waiting with baited breath for [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) to either bow us away or fail hard, it seems as though LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham's DLC packs will tide us over just fine. While the full Season Pass may not be primarily focused on the movies - the third revealed pack, for example, is based on Batman's 75th anniversary - it's rare that a LEGO game leaves me unhappy (except you, LEGO Hobbit, I am upset with you).

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will launch November 11 for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Vita, Wii U and 3DS. Individual DLC packs will be available to purchase at $2.99.
