When it comes to Star Wars, there aren't many elements more deadly, deathly serious than Stormtroopers. Sure, they may not be great shots, but the Empire's elite shock troops are cold, quiet killing machines. Hanging out with Han Solo and the rebellion may be a lot of fun, but these guys know how to get the job done.
Except, of course, when it comes to performing the most basic military tasks - such as adequately defending a space-station, correctly identifying which droids they're looking for, defeating a rag-tag gang of rebels, or pretty much anything that involves R2-D2.
It's this dual identity - as both super-soldiers, and incompetent dolts - that the below (awesome) parody video by Scott David Winn plays on to great effect:
Most importantly of all? This finally answers the most burning question in the Star Wars universe? What did Darth Vader do to the countless Stormtroopers that failed him?
Simple. Strangle the crap out of them.
Now just to wait and see if the Stormtroopers in [Star Wars: Episode VII](movie:711158) are any less incompetent...
What do you guys think? Digging the Stormtroopers Cribs?
