Cautiously optimistic about future comic book movies.

Warner Bros. and DC Comics are looking to team with television network TNT for a live-action Teen Titans show, Titans. The “Teen” label is being dropped so that the show can take a more adult approach.
Titans will star Batman’s sidekick Dick Grayson. In the pilot, Grayson “emerges from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new Super Heroes including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book titles ever.”
Akiva Goldsman (Fringe, I Am Legend) will serve as the writer/executive producer, with Warner Horizon Television producing.

The show Titans has not officially been picked up by TNT, but we can only hope that's where this will end up, and NOT The CW. (Thank God)

Around May when I made my first post here on Moviepilot, I took inspiration from an empty page from IMDb entitled "Teen Titans" with no other information, other than "Akiva Goldsman". Although on IMDb it was not categorized as a TV show, I believe it's safe to say this and that are the same projects.

So I'm excited! How do you feel about this? Who do you want to see other than Dick Grayson? And who would you like to see play Dick Grayson?! Leave all your questions, comments, and concerns in the comment section below, and as always I'm Sam Hayes for Moviepilot: Signing out!
