Here is some awesome fan art for you guys! It shows some of our favorite Harry Potter ladies owning the covers of Witch Weekly. As it turns out, this ragtag group of teens turned into quite the bunch of lookers. Amazing how that happens after high school, right?!
So, if you have been wondering what some of the women of Hogwarts have been up to since leaving school, just run down to Diagon Alley and pick up a copy of Witch Weekly.
Hermione Granger (Weasley)
After fighting in the battle of Hogwarts, Hermione went back to school to finish her 7th year and pass the N.E.W.T.s. After that, she spent her days furthering the rights of oppressed creatures like house elves and centaurs in the Department for the Regulation and control of Magical Creatures. She later earned herself a job in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. J.K. Rowling has suggested that she's "pretty high up" in the department, as she should be!
Hermione and Ron got married and had two children, Hugo and Rose. Rowling recently admitted that their marriage might not be entirely smooth sailing for the pair, and said that they would likely have to seek relationship counseling. This news was heartbreaking, but it makes sense; they've gone through a lot.
Ginny Weasley (Potter)
Ginny finished school at Hogwarts and passed her N.E.W.T.s after the battle. She then joined the professional Quidditch team, the Hollyhead Harpies. Ginny played with the team for a few years, but retired to become the senior Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet and raise a family with Harry.
Ginny and Harry are happily married and have three children: James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna. It sounds like everything is going well in the Potter household!
Luna Lovegood (Scamander)
Following the Second Wizarding War, Luna is still taking the road less traveled by journeying through the world as a Magizoologist, in search of various, elusive creatures. J.K. Rowling has more recently said, "She's a naturalist, whatever the wizarding equivalent of that is." That being said, Luna did come to terms with the fact that not all of her father's stories are true and that some beasts don't exist.
Luna married Rolf Scamander (unfortunately not Neville) and the couple has a set of twin boys, Lorcan and Lysander.
And here's another cover found on Tumblr:
Fleur Delacour (Weasley)
Fleur was awarded medals of bravery by the French and British Ministries of Magic for fighting during the Battle of Hogwarts.
Fleur and Bill are still together and have three children: Victoire, Louis, and Dominique. Her eldest, Victoire, is also dating Hogwart's newest prankster, Teddy Lupin. As her mother, I can imagine that might be a little stressful for her!
These images are so awesome! I wish J.K. Rowling would actually write up these issues so that we could be kept even more up to date on our favorite magical characters. Now my only question regarding these covers is....why aren't any of them moving?
