With the recent announcement that Marvel's [Daredevil](movie:47230), a TV show currently in the works by the same makers as the Avengers, will be heading to the New York Comic-Con in mere weeks, it seems the Disney-owned studio may be preparing to announce the entirety of its cast before hosting a panel of all of the show's most key actors and actresses.

Today, the studio announced that Scott Glenn, known for his works in The Bourne Ultimatum & The Silence of the Lambs, will be playing the part of Stick, the martial arts instructor to Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer who becomes the Guardian of Hell's Kitchen. Upon the announcement, Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television, had this to say about the new addition to the cast:

"Stick is one of the most important figures in Matt Murdock's life and Scott Glenn embodies all the qualities of someone so integral to this hero's journey. There are few actors who could bring such the authenticity, gravitas and charisma to such a key role in Matt's journey to become the super hero we call Daredevil."

Marvel's Daredevil is predicted to hit Netflix in May of next year in the midst of the Marvel Studios timeline near the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. It is unclear when Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist will begin production, however the quartet will indeed be teaming up in a grand finale combined season as the Defenders, a highly anticipated superhero team among comic fans.
