It's finally here!!!! Marvel has released the official synopsis of the upcoming Avengers Age of Ultron. For those of you who were wondering about it, well it has finally hit the web.

Now please note that while most of the characters within this synopsis go by their alter-ego names, only Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will go by their real full names. Also note that they will be played here by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, who you may remember as the married couple in this summer's Godzilla. Only this time, they will be playing brother and sister.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

Marvel Studios presents 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', the follow-up to the biggest Superhero movie of all time. With SHIELD completely destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron (James Spader), a self-aware, self-teaching artificial intelligence. But things start to go awry when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and plots to eradicate them from Earth. Now it's up to Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) along with support from Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to stop him from enacting his schemes. Along the way, the Avengers confront the powerful twins Pietro Maximoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) as well as an old friend in a new form: Vision (Paul Bettany).
