Ever since the official title of Batman vs Superman was announced as [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870), fans have been wondering how many members of the Justice League would actually appear at its "Dawn", and also how Zack Snyder would go about explaining the source of their powers.
Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman was the first confirmed hero outside of the obvious two - but the real question hanging over this Amazon Warrior is, what is the source of her power?
There was some speculation that [Wonder Woman](movie:45787) would have been given her power by an early female Kryptonian coming to earth, thereby tying her power up with Superman's. This, however, does not seem likely.
If we are leading to the Justice League, we are going to have get used to many more sources of supernatural power than simply having Krypton be the source of everything. It has also been confirmed the movie will feature scenes set in Wonder Woman's homeland of Themyscira, the home of the Amazons.
We now know who will play Aquaman, the man who brought us Karl Drogo, Jason Momoa - but it is still unconfirmed whether he will turn up in Batman vs Superman.
If he does, though, what sort of explanation will we have for the King of Atlantis? One report says that the World Engine will have caused some sort of disturbance beneath the oceans which Aquaman will have to deal with.
Is that the way you imagine [Aquaman](movie:264237) being introduced?
Green Lantern / The Flash
DC seem to planning to combine these in a single movie, so we'll examine them both here. They are not strongly rumored to appear in Batman vs Superman, but seeing as we are expecting a Barry Allen Flash and John Stewart as the Green Lantern, there is every chance we could see The Flash and Green Lantern enter Batman vs Superman as a cop and a military man, respectively.
There hasn't been much news of this heavily browed hero appeared in Justice League, so there isn't too much need to wonder about him. Also, the origin story for the Martian Manhunter shouldn't be too hard to puzzle out - - he comes from Mars.
