If you've spent more than 5 minutes, or probably even less, on Moviepilot you know that we love Disney. It's just the best. Show me someone who doesn't love Disney, and I'll show you a freakin' liar.

Back around 2008, the incredibly talented artist Amy Mebberson created a collection of the Disney ladies redrawn as retro pin-up girls. Keep in mind, these are a few years old so sadly there will be no Rapunzel, Merida, Elsa, or Anna in this series. There's really not much to say about her work because the art really speaks for itself.

Note: All artwork posted with permission of the artist.

--------------------------------------------------

BELLE – BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

I'm loving Belle's look in this. Do you think they sell that bathing suit at H&M? Oh wait, it's September. Never mind then.

--------------------------------------------------

SPRING SPRITE – FANTASIA 2000

Just look at that hair! What I would give to have that hair. Hell, I would probably pay good money just to touch that leafy goodness.

--------------------------------------------------

EDNA MODE – THE INCREDIBLES

Edna, you're making me blush, daaaahling! I can only image her telling me to pull myself together while wearing this. I wonder if it's machine washable, I hear that's a new feature.

--------------------------------------------------

ELASTIGIRL/MRS. INCREDIBLE – THE INCREDIBLES

Oh hey, Elastigirl! In the words of Phoebe Buffay "I'm very bendy."

--------------------------------------------------

THE QUEEN OF HEARTS – ALICE IN WONDERLAND

I wonder what the Queen of Hearts is planning behind that smirk of hers.

--------------------------------------------------

SLUE-FOOT SUE – PECOS BILL, MELODY TIME

Yee-haw! This regular female buckaroo was Pecos Bill's ride or die, and I can see why with lasso skills and a face like that.

--------------------------------------------------

KIDA NEDAKH – ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE

Move over, Queen Bey! I would happily bow down to Queen Kida.

--------------------------------------------------

CAPTAIN AMELIA – TREASURE PLANET

This one is a prime example of how great Amy's art is. These characters are spot on, down to Amelia's cat-like claws.

--------------------------------------------------

MALEFICENT – SLEEPING BEAUTY

It looks like Maleficent is glaring at us for spying on her. Whoops! You're rocking that red nail polish, girl!

--------------------------------------------------

ESMERELDA – THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME

I would be so into taking a pole dancing class at the gym if it was taught by Esmerelda.

--------------------------------------------------

MEGARA – HERCULES

I can see why the son of Zeus fell for Megara. But how did she get her hair like that? Do you think she's wearing a Bumpit?

--------------------------------------------------

JANE – TARZAN

Jane! How did get yourself into this predicament?

--------------------------------------------------

SNOW WHITE – SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARVES

"An apple a day keeps the Evil Queen away." -Nobody

--------------------------------------------------

MULAN – MULAN

It's such a shame that Mulan had to cut off those gorgeous locks. I mean, I get it. It was for a good reason. I just hope she donated it or something!

--------------------------------------------------

POCAHONTAS – POCAHONTAS

Is this Pocahontas or Angelina Jolie with a tan? Either way I love it

--------------------------------------------------

CINDERELLA – CINDERELLA

Looks like Cinderella got a little tired of walking in those uncomfortable heels all night.

--------------------------------------------------

AURORA – SLEEPING BEAUTY

It's nice to see Aurora dressed as Briar Rose, and in a more natural habitat like this. Well, maybe slightly more unclothed than usual, but still quite the breath of fresh air.

--------------------------------------------------

ARIEL – THE LITTLE MERMAID

She wants to be where the people are, I want to be where the mermaids are. Can we make some kind of swap? I feel like we could make this work.

--------------------------------------------------

JASMINE – ALADDIN

Okay, Jasmine is pretty much 80% hair, but I'm still more interested in those thigh high boots. Love.

--------------------------------------------------

GISELLE – ENCHANTED

This picture just makes me want to sit down with Giselle and have her and her animal friends braid my hair at a slumber party!

Author's note: I know that this somewhat resembles Rapunzel, but, according to the artist, it is definitely Giselle from Enchanted. These were also made around 2008 before Tangled came out.

--------------------------------------------------

ARIEL AND VANESSA – THE LITTLE MERMAID

This is too great! There's not nearly enough of Ursula as Vanessa in The Little Mermaid fan art.

--------------------------------------------------

SALLY – THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Sally's face "Oops" expression is too great. This image certainly does Tim Burton justice.

--------------------------------------------------

THE BLUE FAIRY – PINOCCHIO

She's like a magical Marilyn. And those eyelashes. Wowza!

--------------------------------------------------

SUNFLOWER – FANTASIA, THE PASTORAL SCENE

Yes! I was so glad to see Sunflower redesigned. After years of pampering the other centaurs, I think that she deserves the chance to frolic and flirt with the boys, just like her sisters.

--------------------------------------------------

KATRINA VAN TASSEL – THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW

She probably needs that parasol to protect her beautiful, alabaster skin from the sun.

--------------------------------------------------

TIANA – THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG

Sassy Tiana only needs a single lily pad to cover herself. I don't know how she found a large, translucent lily pad, but it sure is provocative.

Amy's flat, colorful style is truly unique. I highly recommend taking some time to check out her portfolio for more fun fan art, Disney and otherwise. Her full collection of Disney pin-ups can be viewed on her these three photosets on Tumblr (1, 2, 3).
