If you are pumped up about the fifth season of Teen Wolf, which will consist of 20 episodes divided into two parts and unfortunately will air in 2015, then do not worry!
Cheer yourself up with my take on the greatest protagonists on the show so far. In order to make the ranking I have taken into consideration different factors such as the development of the character and his coolness factor.
So, here we go, make sure there isn't wolfsbane or mistletoe around you and continue reading:
P.S. Who do you think is the greatest Teen Wolf protagonist? Share your opinion in the comment section below! And by the way, in the near future I intend to rank the greatest villains on the show!
10. Chris Argent (JR Bourne)
With the exception of his father, Gerard, Chris' entire family is dead. So, it is apparent that he possesses a strong willpower... and lethal hunting skills. Despite that, Argent has not actually killed a werewolf on the show... yet!
9. Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby)
Sheriff Stilinski is the father of Stiles and the two have an awesome bond, maybe due to the the fact that the Sheriff had to raise him (almost ) all alone because of the death of his wife. He had a very awkward introduction into the supernatural and for a while found it hard to adapt to the way things really are.
8. Danny Mahealani (Keahu Kahuanui)
Everyone loves Danny. I am not sure if that is because of his wit and kindness or the fact that he most truly represents the show's attempt to rise over the homophobia around the world, but it is impossible not to like or respect him.
7. Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio)
Melissa is a single mom, who loves her son Scott more than anything. She is a brave woman and at times one of the funniest characters of the show.
6. Scott McCall (Tyler Posey)
Like mother, like son! Obviously, Scott is the primary protagonist of the show and what is even more significant, he is a True Alpha. In addition, Scott is willing to do anything for his friends and family and has an adorable bromance with Stiles.
5. Allison Argent (Crystal Reed)
Scott's first true love (and vice versa) was a skilled archer and the youngest member of the Argent family. This is a character that grows from a scared girl to a gifted hunter that can stand up to anyone. I still cannot get over the fact that the screenwriters decided to kill her in Season 3, because Crystal Reed was such a vital part of the cast.
4. Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin)
Derek is a tragic hero, whose relationship history is so unfortunate and devastating that even Scott's grades cannot match it. However, Derek is such a lovable character (in spite of his temper). After all, how can you not like a character, who gave up on being an Alpha to save his sister's life?!
3. Peter Hale (Ian Bohen)
It is hard to classify Peter as a protagonist, but he is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, so why not?! Derek's uncle is sly, manipulative, and often secretive, but he also possesses a great sense of humor and little compassion or loyalty. However, at times he has shown traits of an antihero and has also aided the protagonists on certain occasions, so he might prove to be good after all.
2. Lydia Martin (Holland Roden)
Lydia is the smartest character on the show and she is also a gorgeous girl, who is popular at school. At first she is shallow and spoiled, but gradually she starts to genuinely care about the people around her. She is a Banshee, a previous "associate" of Peter, and is the love of Styles' life.
1. Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien)
WHO ELSE?!?! Stiles is geeky, sarcastic, funny, outspoken, extremely clever and kind-hearted. In other words, he is the complete opposite of the man he was when he was fully possessed by the Nogistune at the second part of Season 3. At the moment Stiles has a growing relationship with werecoyote Malia Tate, but Lydia is the love of his life.
