We saw him kick the bucket while sitting on the can at the end of Season 4, but apparently Tywin Lannister could be making a return to the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones next year.
Charles Dance, who plays the villainous patriarch of the Lannister family, has hinted that he will be starring in Season 5 of Game of Thrones. Tywin is one of those characters you know you are supposed to hate, but he's so damn good at his role you just gotta love the guy! So, if what he's hinting in this interview for MTV turns out to be true, I'll be completely stoked. Check this out:
(Firstly, let me just put this out there: Rolling Stones' T-shirt? You rock, Charles.)
When Tywin was shot with the two crossbow bolts I wondered about the placements. They didn't look life threatening if able to get medical help in time. Or perhaps he's definitely dead, but they're running with that whole flashbacks thing for his character in Season 5.
The show is known for its use of supernatural elements, in particular White Walkers and their army of zombies. Could Tywin will be coming back as a reanimated corpse? Who knows what could happen if that Witch Doctor is let loose on him...
