Jeremy Geddes might not be a name you're familiar with, but he is one of the rising stars of the photorealistic artistic community. Perhaps most famously, he is known for developing the Cosmonaut project, a series of paintings which depict dead astronauts falling to Earth. Yeah, I know, pretty grim, right?
But that's not all he's got under his belt. he's also the go-to man for exploding buildings and/or fleshy balls of people floating in mid-air. Check out some of his work below:

I've now spent a good 10 minutes looking at these pictures and trying to figure out whether they are simply manipulated photographs or actual paintings. After all that time, I'm still none the wiser.
