As of recent, Cinema Makeup School has been making the rounds on the SoCal convention scene, and in my opinion, the magic made at that booth is a welcome addition to my usual vendor hall crawl. At this year's Wondercon, they debuted a massive, detailed and daunting rendition of Apocalypse from X-Men:

Work like this is what I like to call a feat of cosplay - while this usually pertains to the individual cosplayers that spend weeks bringing costumes like these to life, it's also interesting to see what a full creative team can do to bring villains like these to life.
