From the very beggining of the new superhero movie era, like Iron Man, the always hungry for action fans almost never let a good Easter Egg slip, no matter if it came from the actual sequel, a statement or even a video game (like the Lego appearance of the [Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073)). But from what I saw, nobody spent a little time studying the action figure lines. Well, let me tell you a little something that will draw your attention for sure!
Recently, the giant toy producer Hasbro released a wave in the Marvel Lengends Infinite Series based on [The Amazing Spider-Man 2](movie:508593) movie. Like in every series made because of such a thing, there where representations of some characters from the sequel, and comic representations of other ones.
What catched my interest was the appearance of the Black Cat. And one thing is true, that this is not the first time we hear about the anti-heroine. Remember who was Harry Osbourne's secretary..you got it, Felicia Hardy! So, because of these two solid Easter Eggs, it is most likely that, sooner or later, the Party Hardy will be advancing in the Sony sequel, to be either an element in the very known love triangle with Peter and MJ as the other two players, or an important ally of our wall-crawling hero in the fight against the evil deeds of the [Sinister Six](movie:1274281)! Or maybe both!
Indeed, a good way to interpretate toy releases. But don't misunderstand me, it surely is a different way to reiceve Easter Eggs, but it this isn't the only time Marvel teased us using Hasbro.
A long while ago, amongst the 3'75 inches wave of figures based on Captain America: The First Avenger movie, there was a not really motivated release of a Winter Soldier in his comic version. Then, after several years later, guess who was the main villain in the sequel's second movie !?
I can continue like this forever, and you know why? Because Hasbro releases every year a whole bunch of characters in action figure form, some with a purpose, and the other ones without one. Well, at least now we know why the second category exists!
