As we all know, the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has intruded movie theaters, households, and every person uTorrent. If you read my posts on Marvel or superhero films in general (I'm not saying I'm popular) then you know I'm not the biggest fan of Marvel. But ever since [Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073) and [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973), I've had a change of heart.

When Phase 3 kicks off after Avengers: Age of Ultron, there will be a plethora of great comic book films. Phase 2 had some disappointments, you can't argue with it. I love The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man 3 was a good comeback from the previous flop. Yeah, Thor: The Dark World looked cool and had some cool fight scenes, but the story was just as bland and uninteresting as the villain. The only great part about it was Loki.

I mean, come on. If that doesn't look like a sociopath with a thirst for power, I don't know what will!

Now we wait for hopefully the most incredible superhero movie ever, Avengers: Age of Ultron, besides Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, of course. But I think it'll be a tie between the two, and Captain America 3, which I think will be just as good, if not better than The Winter Soldier it's going to change the game completely and we will see the ultimate age of superhero films, I have high hopes. I didn't at first, I definitely do now. I'm taking everything I said back about Marvel Studios I take back. But, Sony is a different story. They just need to stop.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is going to kick the Marvel Cinematic Universe into overdrive and make it kick so much ass. If Warner Bros. and DC are going to have really dark emotional superhero movies, Marvel is going to have to set that tone a little bit as well. They are known for their comedic edge, which I'm sure they will have for some films, Guardians of the Galaxy for sure will need its comedic edge, that's what made the movie so fun. But Captain America I feel needs to be more dark and serious. The Winter Soldier did that very well and thats why I liked it so much. It worked. I already have a feeling this will happen first with Avengers: Age of Ultron. The whole plot line already sounds intense and dark, way darker than Avengers. Also, I think the tone will change for the most part, at least with the scenes that don't include Chris Hemsworth or RDJ. I do like humor, but I also like very dark plot lines and characters. That's why I normally lean more towards DC over Marvel. Yes, I think Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice will kick complete ass and make history as well, but DC and Warner Bros. have a lot of work to do to keep up with Marvel and be consistent. I just hope they don't get ahead of themselves and well...

Besides Avengers 3 and Captain America 3; Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Everyone, including myself can not wait to see what the Guardians will be doing in the sequel. We already know Thanos is going to be a huge part of the MCU throughout Phase 3. They already introduced him during the end credits scene in Avengers, of course in Guardians but will he return in Age of Ultron along side Ultron, or separately? We know he will definitely be returning in Guardians 2. Here's what I think, during Age of Ultron, possibly in an end credit scene, or during the film somewhere. Loki will meet up with Thanos, is he isn't already working with him. They will plot something against the Avengers, but of course won't be the main plot of Avengers: Age of Ultron of course. From there, he will stay dormant through Ant-Man and maybe Doctor Strange. But will come in full force in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I don't know how they are going to do it, but it's going to be with a bang! Comment some of your predictions below!

Avengers 3, this will be one of the most anticipated films for 2018. If rumors are correct, we will see a brand new team of Avengers. Including: Ant-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Drax the Destroyer, Bucky Barnes, and the big one right now, Spider-Man. I'm hoping they incorporate the new characters that are being introduced starting with Ant-Man, summer 2015, but still have some original Avengers in. We already know Iron Man is still staying, but who else will? It's been rumored that Cap and the Hulk will be leaving the team. And it would make sense given the Avengers 3 is being released in 2018, and Captain America 3 is being released in 2016. My point being if the storyline for Cap 3, is Civil War. The biggest recent storyline Marvel has put out. If you're not familiar, The story is, the U.S. government passes a Superhero Registration Act, in which everyone in the country who has super powers, or mutants to be officially regulated. This act is backed by Tony Stark, but of course good ol' Steve Rogers is against this act and starts a war with Tony Stark and the U.S. against himself and other superhumans. If this happens, hopefully it will, we will definitely see a change in the Avengers for sure. I think the storyline for Avengers 3 well, will conclude the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, since it has been hinted at before, especially in Guardians, and we will probably see the end of Thanos as well. So everyone in the Avengers the new characters they introduce and the old, will have to team up to defeat Thanos and his army. Whatever happens, the MCU will change indefinitely. Be prepared!

After Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I completely changed the way I look at comic book films and the MCU all together. Seeing the way the tones changed in each film just shows they have a lot of potential to attract more and more audiences than they already have. I hope they bring out a lot in Ant-Man he never appealed to me much and to be honest, he's not that interesting. They have to be bringing something pretty great if their going to keep up with [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035). Given it's good, but I mean, how could it not be?

Wether you like the Marvel Cinematic Universe or not, you can't argue they haven't already made history and created something incredible. Maybe they haven't done it for you yet, I was like that. I gave them one last chance and they blew me away. I think if you don't already like the MCU, then you will with Phase 3. With [Ant-Man](movie:9048), [Captain America 3](movie:994409), [Doctor Strange](movie:559685), [Thor 3](movie:956858) (debatable), and Avengers 3, you shouldn't be disappointed.
