Cautiously optimistic about future comic book movies.

In an eventual [Batman Reboot](movie:485285), who would be a good first villain. Even though Bruce Wayne would be about 50 by the time of the reboot, so maybe it will be like Batman Beyond, in a futuristic world where all the classic villains are either locked up or long dead. Or maybe Dick Grayson will pick up the mantle of the Bat. But regardless of those types of theories, here are some of the best Batman villains to put on film soon! (That we haven't seen much or any of)

1. Mr. Freeze

John Malkovich

I think we can all agree that the last Mr. Freeze we got was pretty terrible, and we want to stray away from that. So instead of loud, Austrian puns, we should try the cold, slightly German(?), depressed iceman.

2. Man-Bat

DCAU

Doug Jones

This guy is no stranger to weird motion-capture, alien, freaky creature, scary characters. This would of course also be a troubled Dr. Kurt Langstrom as well as Man-Bat.

3. The Riddler

Neil Patrick Harris

I mean, come on. Do I really have to explain this one to you?

4. Killer Croc

DCAU

Ron Perlman

Tell me that Hellboy and Killer Croc don't sound the same. Tell me they don't have a semi-similar persona. This guy has rocked the makeup many times before and can rock it again.

5. Clayface

DCAU
DCAU

Patrick Dempsey

Going the Animated Series route of combining the original man with the face of clay with the actual Clayface, we have Patrick Dempsey, a guy who with just the right makeup, can look like a super-fake Hollywood plastic has-been. And once the clay has settled, all he'll have to do is make a gross voice and the rest is CGI.
