Being alone, one of the most basic of human fears, especially dying alone...there is no greater desperation. In Alien: Isolation - no matter who you are or how cocky you've gotten throughout the course of the game (or any game for that matter), there are literally a million ways to die, and when I say die, I mean die with extreme prejudice. Xenomorph prejudice.
If you're not familiar with the storyline of Alien: Isolation, let's catch you up:
Set in 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien and 42 years prior to Aliens. The game follows Amanda, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, who is investigating the disappearance of her mother. Amanda was transferred to the space station Sevastopol to find the flight recorder of Nostromo. However, an Alien has already infested the station. Hilarity ensues. And by hilarity, I mean piss your pants WTFFFFF NO NO NO OMG hilarity. So...not funny at all...terrifyingly remote control throwingly awful.
This newest TV spot for Alien: Isolation gives us an awesome few screen caps of what we're in for Xenomorph-wise, and Alien: Isolation looks like the Alien movies that we actually deserve. While Ridley Scott might be bored of Xenomorphs (no seriously, hit the link), I'm totally not.
