Think sexy action versions of Disney princesses with guns are great? Then you'll love them boldly re-imagined as piles of stones!

Artist Kevin Bolk has taken the next step in a long tradition of artistically representing beloved characters in alternate universes or incarnations, and arrived at the logical yet absurd conclusion. Art deco? Been done. Pinups with guns? Too sexualized, too Rambo. Zombie apocalypse survivors? Also been done. (Really well, but still.)

The solution? Rocks. With the princesses' signature coifs. Maybe they're actually the princesses transformed into rocks by an evil spell. Maybe some cosplayers left their wigs at the beach. I don't know.

But I do know that it's the hottest, most glorious thing I have ever seen. And the best homage. Ever. In the history of ever. This isn't up for debate, people. Why even bother making any more fanart, ever? We're done here. Everybody go home. The end. Happily ever after. Enjoying our lives. As rocks.

I'm being sarcastic as hell but these ARE cool okay
