NOTE: If you haven't read my last article about the Avengers we CRAVE, go read it, because I will be referencing to it a couple of times in this article!
ALSO NOTE: These articles are not to be taken seriously. They are suppose to be a fun piece of writing of my opinion. I don't write it to be serious, I write it because it's fun and I love to see what people think of my ideas!
You guys voted, and I am delivering! Today, we will be looking at another huge topic: [The Avengers](movie:9040) Villains we CRAVE! This list includes villains who are not confirmed to be in an Avengers movie (sorry Thanos) and who are realistically not going to be in an Avengers movie (sorry Dr. Doom and Galatus).
In the last article, there was some confusion about whether this was my own personal opinion, because in the title it said "we." It would be kind of hard for me to go around asking everyone who they CRAVE because we all have our own personal opinions. So, just to clear it up, this post focuses more on who I think the people want and what I want mixed together!
So anyway, thanks for reading and enjoy the post!
Kang the Conqueror
Born in an alternate timeline in 3000 AD (or CE), Nathaniel Richards, a descendant of Mr. Fantastic's father, who bore the same name, discovered time-travel technology that enabled him to journey virtually anywhere he liked in the timestream. His powers include: being a master of time travel, a suit providing enhanced strength, force fields and energy projection, and also futuristic weapons.
Some of you may have noticed I mentioned Mr. Fantastic, who is owned by 20th Century Fox. But, in all honesty, I have no clue if Fox or Marvel owns Kang. I'm hoping, like many others, that Marvel has him so he can end up being the villain in an Avengers film.
So why do I want him in a movie? Well first off, I'm not the only one who wants him in an Avengers movie. I know a lot of people who think he should be used as an Avenger villain, not only that, but Kang just fits with the MCU. Between helping the Guardians of the Galaxy and battling the Avengers, he could go anywhere basically. So, in Avengers 4 or 5, I hope Marvel brings him into the universe to create havoc and mess with time (which makes for great alternate universe stories which equals box office success and high ratings! It's a win win!)
The Skrulls are an ancient humanoid species from the Andromeda galaxy, with reptilian physiologies. The cosmic beings known as the Celestials visited the species' birthworld of Skrullos long ago and created Skrullian equivalents to Earth's Eternals and Deviants. The Deviant Skrulls exhibited the ability to shapeshift and soon wiped out all competing racial branches.
That's right, I CRAVE racist reptile shapeshifters in an Avengers movie! Again, this is a 'I don't know' moment because I don't know if Fox or Marvel owns them, mainly because they are associated with the Fantastic Four. I'm almost sure Marvel does because I remember a rumor going around saying that the Skrulls were going to be Loki's army (which didn't happen), but again I'm not positive.
I'm really glad they didn't go that way because I feel in the Avengers they would have been overlooked. This species is majorly bad-ass! They shapeshift into anything they want, humans or other heroes, and they also have a great storylines such as the Kree and Skrull wars, which would make for a killer story (for those of you who read the stories, you know what I'm talking about). As with Kang, I feel that Marvel will eventually add the Skrulls, probably sooner than later and again, they will probably a huge success!
Update: Thanks to Aaron Kelley, the Chitauri in the Avengers was a hybird of the original Chitauri and the Skrulls, and FOX owns Skrulls! That sucks.
Masters of Evil
The Masters of Evil are perennial foes of the Avengers, assembling multiple times over the years, often with no link between the various groupings other than their name. The first Masters of Evil came about through the efforts of Nazi mastermind Baron Zemo. Some other members include Melter, Radioactive man, Black Knight, Executioner, Enchantress, Klaw, Man-Killer, Tiger Shark, Cyclone, Flying Tiger, Absorbing Man, Whiplash, Ultron-5, Doctor Octopus, and many others.
If you read my 'Avengers we CRAVE' article you're probably wondering why Black Knight is on the list of Masters of Evil. That's because I didn't mention that the second Black Knight (Nathan Garret) actually used the powers of the Black Knight for evil, until Dane Whitman took up the mantle and joined the Avengers.
Anyway, the Masters of Evil would be a great move by Marvel. By assembling a super group of super villains and making them battle the Avengers, it would be box office gold. Obviously, this would take a while to do. You would have to introduce Baron Zemo to Captain America's movies, as well as Klaw from Black Panther and other super villains, and in the end bring them all together. I think that this would create much excitement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and help Marvel rake in the cash!
