Set in 1919, The Water Diviner tells the story of an Australian father (Russell Crowe) who travels to Turkey in order to find his three missing sons in the aftermath of the battle of Gallipoli. Here's the latest trailer for you, directed by - and starring - Crowe himself.

What a performance! Even if the parts from the likes of Olga Kurylenko and Jai Courtney don't completely come together, Crowe sure looks like he's in top form. And perhaps, after working with directors Ridley Scott, Ron Howard, and Darren Aronofsky most recently, the Gladiator star has learned a lot about being behind the camera. At least, this looks like a powerful drama that could crop up for awards season.

...More than anything, though, I hope that The Water Diviner will be a great tribute to those who were sacrificed on both sides.
