Here is a fake pitch proof of concept trailer:
Don Juan of Detroit is a sort of modern day "Midas touch" wherein our hero transforms himself from a dateless zero to a sexual superhero. At first he attributes his newly found lothario status to his recovery from alcoholism and weight loss, but he quickly founds out that there's something far more darker working underneath.
The tone of the book shifts from dark comedy to horror thriller, and I believe that it has something for everyone. It works as a parody of modern day romance novels like "Fifty Shades of Grey" and it also deals with a man's isolation and despair.
It's about addiction, loss, narcissism, grief, sex, and heartache, but has a lot of twisted humor strewn throughout.
