I'm actually Scottish, living in America. That should tell you pretty much everything you need to know about me.

So there's been a lot of talk lately about Stan Lee's role in the Marvel Universe. Is he the Watcher? Uh...... Maybe. But I think not.

He's totally Kronos.

Why is he Kronos? Well, let me tell you.

First off, Stan's everywhere at all times. He's the guy who doubts the existence of superheroes in [The Avengers](movie:9040). He's Hugh Hefner AND Larry King AND a beauty pageant judge in the Iron Man trilogy. He was the guy who accidentally ingested Banner's blood in The Incredible Hulk. Who has this ability in the Marvel comics? Two characters: Uatu the Watcher and Kronos. Which one has more history with the characters currently involved in the MCU? Kronos. He saved Arthur Douglass' soul and put it in the body of Drax the Destroyer, who constantly hunts Thanos. He was imprisoned by Thanos, who was in possession of the Cosmic Cube (a.k.a. the Tesseract) at the time.

Second..... He's Thanos' grandfather. I repeat. Thanos' grandfather. He's the father of Mentor, whose union with his fellow Eternal, Sui-San, led to the birth of Thanos and his brother Eros, later known as Starfox.

Third, he's the bridge between the Avengers and the [Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073). He's responsible for making Drax the vengeful man he is, and he's called upon several different Avengers before, which makes him the perfect candidate for inclusion in the MCU.

So what do you think? Is Stan Lee Kronos, Mentor or someone else entirely? Let me know what you think in the comments below, and if you want to see more of my articles, don't forget to follow me here on MP and check out my profile.
