Since the grand announcement that fan favorite Deadpool "The Merc With A Mouth" was going to finally get his own movie, endless speculation has been flooding every corner of the Internet. Well thanks to Deadpool movie producer Simon Kinberg one very large question has been anserwed.

Where will Deadpool fit in the whole X-Men Universe? [Deadpool](movie:38663) is going to stand tall right smack in the middle of it all!! Here is what Simon had to say about the hopes for Deadpool and the X-Men cinematic universe.

“There’s definitely a sort of overall plan that we’ve all been talking about for the X-Men universe now,” Kinberg explained, “and Deadpool obviously fits into that. So yeah, I guess I would say it's part of certainly an overall timeline and thought process that goes into these films, some of which is inspired by the comics and some which is inspired by seeing what Marvel’s done with telling a larger tapestry and linking all those movies together, even as they stand independently as well. The same kind of thought is going to go into these X-Men movies at Fox.”

Further more Simon Kinberg, reconfirmed with CinemaBlend website that he is in fact setting up for something bigger, per the site this is what Simon has said

"They do all feed into one another in the sense of wanting to tell this sort of massive story that can take place over multiple movie"

"We are aware [of that] as we are plotting out X-Men: Apocalypse and the other X-Men movies – both potential sequels in the future and standalone movies – and trying to build them all together so that there is a singularity of vision. And obviously a timeline that makes sense as well, because these movies all, well not all, but many of them take place in different time periods, so that all those things will link up and make sense for an audience."

Ryan Reynolds is said to return as Wade Wilson in Deadpool and the movie, directed by Tim Miller, is set for release on February 12, 2016. And later that year, Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse will hit on May 27, starring Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult.

What does this mean? Well fanboys and fangirls, this means all sorts of great stories or movie crossover events just like Avengers did with Thor, Captain America and Iron Man!

We could be even talking...dare I say it! X-Force?!!

Only time will tell what great movies could be done with the inclusion of The "Merc With A Mouth" with the rest of the big hitters in the X-Men. One can only hope a REAL Weapon X story can be told and we can all forget that horrid ending that was Wolverine Origins.

Who Is Deadpool:

Deadpool (Wade Winston Wilson) is a fictional character, a mercenary and anti-hero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool first appeared in New Mutants #98 (Feb. 1991).

A disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary, Deadpool originally appeared as a villain in an issue of New Mutants, and later in issues of X-Force. The character has since starred in several ongoing series, and shares titles with other characters such as Cable. Also known as the "Merc with a Mouth," Deadpool is famous for his talkative nature and his tendency to break the fourth wall, which is used by writers to humorous effect.

He was portrayed by Ryan Reynolds in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine and will appear in his own feature film set to be released on February 12, 2016.
