Believe it or not, it's been almost over 10 years since Shaun and Ed first loaded up on discarded shed detritus and took on the zombie hordes in Edgar Wright's classic British zom-rom-com, Shaun of the Dead.
If you're anything like me, Shaun of the Dead was required repeated viewing in your teens and early twenties - a movie which just kept on giving no matter how often you watched it. And it looks like Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have still got a little bit more to give as Shaun and Ed (understandably without his iconic 'I Got Wood' T-shirt) recently cameoed in an episode of Phineas and Ferb.
The episode, titled Night of the Living Pharmacists, approached the zombie apocalypse with the traditional irreverence we've come to associate with Phineas and Ferb. As you can probably guess, the episode features gormless pharmacists who can turn others simply by touching them. Check out the clip, which features the usual banter between Shaun and Ed, below:
Night of the Living Pharmacists is the latest Phineas and Ferb episode to reference massively popular films and television series. Previously, Disney also aired a Lost-inspired episode written by Damon Lindelof himself.
This particular episode aired on Disney on October 4th.
Was it good to see Ed and Shaun again?
