Although a lot of us are still trying to desperately forget the car crash that was the second Sex and the City movie, there could still be more in store, according to Jennifer Hudson.
Whereas Sex and the City 2 was a total flop in the hearts of fans and a multiple Razzie award winner, it also raked in over $300 million in the box office worldwide.
So, if you're a cynic like me, director Michael Patrick King wants to milk that cash cow while it's still breathing, or if you're purer of heart, he couldn't bare to let the franchise end on such a damp squib. You chose.
Jennifer Hudson doesn't really have any thoughts on why the franchise could be being rebooted 4 years after its death, but she really seems to think it's happening. The actress, who appeared in the previous films, explained to E! that:
I think it might be [happening]. Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it’s in the talks, it might happen. So look out for your girl Louise from St. Louis.
I'm so torn by this one! Like pretty much every other girl in their late twenties, I would love to see more of this gleefully decadent franchise, but I'm so traumatized by the girls jaunt to Dubai, I just can't!
