Take a look at these beautiful The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt screenshots!
Before I dive into any discussion of the game, I thought we could all collectively gawp at these stunning images from CD Project RED's Witcher 3!
The Witcher 3's map is reportedly 20 percent larger than Skyrim's! Something which I really cannot fathom and let's face it, it's going to be stunning.
This image reminds me of Belle fending off the wolves outside of the castle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Just me? Yeah, you're right, the sword she was wielding wasn't as impressive. But what is impressive, is the stunning surroundings in this screenshot, with wolves that look more real than those we saw in The Day After Tomorrow (not hard).
Witcher 3 seemingly has a new feature according to this image...is it just me or does it look like he owns this giant monster and is calling it to rest on his arm? Probably, just me. We are certainly going to be slaying the hell out of these giant creatures in Witcher 3.

Speculations about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its Quality!
There have been strange speculations as to whether Witcher 3 may actually be any good, or at least live up to the standards of its predecessors. These mainly come from a source that sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee though they could hold true:
It looks like many gaffers are painting CDP as some magical dev studio with only the best of interests of the gamers in mind. Trust me they are not. The bullshitting with the Witcher 3 started from day 1. PR is creating an overblown vision of a game that doesn’t exist while the team is in crazy crunch time for over a year now. There’s some bad shit going on that if GAF knew GAF would not like. - Anaxymenes
The admin did confirm his authenticity regarding his inside information concerning Witcher 3, but that certainly doesn't mean that what he's saying has any truth in it. It's perhaps just my desire for Witcher 3 to completely blow me away that is preventing me from giving this comment any credence, I mean aren't we all a little disgruntled by our employers from time to time?
Judging by the screenshots, I think Witcher 3 is shaping up quite nicely! Let's just hope that it has the freedom and narrative punch we're hoping for.
Regarding DRM and DLC for Witcher 3!
We don’t want to assault anyone [...] Each time we are thinking about a decision, the first rule is we have to treat gamers like we’d like to be treated. We don’t believe in DRM because we hate DRM. It also doesn’t protect, not really. Games are cracked in minutes, hours or days, but they’re always cracked. If you want to pirate you’ll find a way. But if you’re a committed gamer and are buying the game why should we place a barrier on you?
Then, with DLC, it’s small content. Like one-thousandth of the whole game. Why should you charge for that? If it’s small, give it for free. I know it’s not always possible or easy but this is what we want to give gamers; a little bit of love, which we’d like to get from other developers as gamers ourselves.
A little bit of love. Yep, that's all we want guys! And with a world 35 percent bigger than the other games and over 100 hours of gameplay (around 50 for the main story and 50 for side quests) it looks like there is going to be a whole lot of love in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!
The Witcher 3 will be released for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on February 24th, 2015.
