This guy Brian is super cool, and not just because we share the same last name (no relation as far as I know). Brian Lai made an incredible video showing how he can draw in inverted colors. I get it. What are you supposed to do when you're already amazing at drawing regularly? Where's the challenge? Where's the fun? Naturally, the next step is to learn how to draw inverted art.

I know, that sounds kind of confusing. But trust me, just watch the video and it'll all make sense! It's definitely one of the coolest pieces of fan art that I've seen in a long time.

So, basically Brian used a pencil to draw a picture that only shows up once it's been inverted! How awesome is that? Talk about taking fan art to a whole new level.

I wonder what it feels like to be exceptionally talented. Must be nice. Here are some closeups of Brian's work:

Check out those details on the Joker! It all looks so real.

He drew all of Gotham in that teeny tiny space. Unbelievable.

The Batcycle looks just as cool as an inverted pencil drawing! Those guns are crazy.

Hey, if you're willing to put in 72+ hours of work, you could have similar results. Sadly, I could spend an entire month working on this and it wouldn't even come close.

Do you think you could ever draw something like Brian's inverted art?
