Galactus is the only survivor of the universe that existed before the Big Bang. He was actually born billions of years ago on the planet Taa. Taa was a paradise world, the most technologically advanced in all the universe. Galactus was born during the last years of his universe just as the Big Bang was approaching. He was a scientist and informed his people of the impending doom to not only Taa, but the universe itself. The very atoms of the universe were changing and they watched as civilizations died.
Soon, residents of Taa began dying of radiation poisoning and even their advanced skills could not stop it. He persuaded some crewman to fly with himself in a space vessel into the terminal point of the universe as a sort of last act of Heroism to his people. Everyone else on the ship died and that's when a cosmic being calling itself the sentience of the universe told him they both must die. The being combined with Galan and became part of the new Universe as a cosmic egg.
Galactus was created along with his starship and the embodiments of Death and Eternity. He stayed here, inert, for billions of years. A Watcher found the ship to be interesting and brought it down out of a planet's orbit, thus breaking his oath of non-interference. He awoke the incredibly powerful entity on-board. He had one chance to destroy it but did not interfere, knowing that this entity must live. Powers include manipulating vast cosmic power, restructure matter and deliver a planet-shattering energy blast, able to teleport across galaxies, create force fields.
I'll be honest, I have a couple guilty pleasures. One of them being that I actually liked the Fantastic Four movies, especially the second one. But, what I did not enjoy (and other people) is that Galactus was a huge space storm. I understand why they went that direction, but seriously? I'm hoping that FOX not only brings back Galactus, but does him right this time! I really like Galactus, I love the whole concept of him being a huge planet eating being that causes great battles between the Fantastic Four and himself. That's freaking sweet and if they don't add that into at least the third Fantastic Four movie, myself and other fans will be greatly disappointed!
Long ago in the Negative Zone, when the Tyannans seeded life spores on barren planets, one of their ships got hit by a meteor and was sent onto the volcanic planet Arthros. Before dying, the crew released spores. Many years later, one of the spores evolved into an insectoid creature. Due to a mutation he had a high intelligence. Finding the wreckage of a Tyannan starship, he used a special helmet to transfer all information about the advanced Tyannan technology to himself. This caused him to grow stronger and smarter, gaining a "Cosmic Control Rod" and body armaments. The creature became known as Annihilus and he set out to destroy anything that was a threat to his existence. He planned to conquer or destroy all planets nearby Arthros. Other creatures came from the spores as well, but Annihilus used his power so he would rule above them. Powers include a exoskeleton that can withstand vast external pressure, breathe in the vacuum of space, can fly up to 150 mph.
Just look at this guy! Imagine seeing him on the big screen. Picture him flying around, beating the crap out of the Fantastic Four and totally destroying everything. That's why I CRAVE him. Annihilus is incredibly overlooked and underrated and deserves more spotlight in both the comic and movie world. I think it would be very interesting to see him in the second movie. I think it could all flow together and lead up to the big battle against Galactus in the third movie. It also could introduce the Negative Zone and bring in more stories and characters. Some may agree, some may disagree, but in my opinion Annihilus deserves his spot in a Fantastic Four movie.
A Box Office Bomb
I might get praise, I might get hate, but this one is totally MY opinion. So please, refrain from going bat-sh*t crazy on me.
Above I was talking about the villains I would want for the upcoming Fantastic Four movies that FOX is coming out with. I was saying things FOX should or shouldn't do and looking like I'm a big FOX fan. But, if the first movie does good, then put those villains in FOX, but deep down I'm hoping this one gets a bomb. Don't get me wrong, I love the Fantastic Four, but the only thing I don't like is that they're owned by FOX.
So, I want this upcoming Fantastic Four to be a box office bomb, so FOX might actually give the rights back to Marvel. So, Marvel would get Galactus, Kang, Skrulls, Silver Surfer and all the other Fantastic Four characters. I really want the Avengers to have a movie where they fight Galactus, team up with the Fantastic Four and have the Kree and Skrull war. I don't know if people realize that the Fantastic Four is a major component to the Marvel Universe. Fantastic Four could bring the Illuminati, a better Civil War movie, Kree and Skrull like I mentioned, and plenty more. It just would make everything so much better!
I'm sure that many will disagree, but I feel it's not a totally stupid and farfetched CRAVING.
Bonus: Doctor Doom
The reason I really didn't include him was... well, he is the most obvious choice. It would of been unoriginal of me to include him in if he is 99.89798% going to be in the Fantastic Four movie already. But, since he is DOOM and my favorite Marvel villain, he should get a special mentioning.
