A couple of days ago, more and more reports started saying that Sony will try to convince Marvel to let Spider-Man appear in the Avengers. Now, besides these rumors, something else has happened.
It appears that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the last time when Andrew Garfield donned the Spider-Man costume, since The Sinister Six will act like a soft-reboot. This means that moving the 3rd Amazing Spider-Man after the second one proved to be almost a disaster was a last minute decision made by the executives.
They aren’t bleeding money, but they aren’t winning as much as they wanted. And letting the superhero go and meet other superheroes seems like a good idea – not just the fans of Spider-Man will see the movie, but also the fans of the Avengers (we aren’t even mentioning the new adaptations which can be made).
For now, all that is certain is that The Sinister Six is coming on the 11th of November 2016. As far as Spider-Man himself, nobody (even Sony) has a clue of what will happen next.
What do you think will this ever happen?
