Ever since fans first heard news of Jurassic World we have heard leaks and counter leaks contradicting each other. Now, there has been talk of a trailer. There is no footage, but there is a description, which, if true, makes some pretty interesting claims.
First of all, though, let's take a look at what we know for sure.
Jurassic World: What is CONFIRMED?!
Jurassic World is set 13 years after the even of the first Jurassic Park movie, and by now dinosaurs have become less of a sensation than they were when they first introduced. Visitors to Isla Nublar are dwindling, and teenagers attend Jurassic World more interested in their iPhone than in the prehistoric lizards on show there.
As a result of the falling attendances, the corporate owners of the park hire a team of scientists of try to create a new attraction - a test-tube dinosaur that will combine the genes of two of the deadliest dinos out there, the Velociraptor and the T-Rex! Their name for the new beasts? The Diabolus Rex!
Chris Pratt, star of [Jurassic World](movie:32752), will play a scientist, believed to be studying the behavior of Velociraptors. But now, we turn to some unconfirmed rumors, along with that trailer description.
Jurassic World: First Trailer Shows Tame Dinosaurs?
There were leaks from over a year ago that were since discredited as being from an early draft of the movie's script, which claimed that at the Dinosaur theme park we would see trained water creatures, jumping to be fed great white shark from the island's lagoon.
And what did we hear from the trailer description? EXACTLY that! There was also talk that Chris Pratt's character would have muzzled and trained velociraptors, which would help him combat the dangerous unnatural Diabolus Rex.
So is it true? Has the movie gone back to its original script and we will see a battle between "good" and "bad" dinosaurs? Would that be a good idea? Or, alternatively, are these rumors simply a rehash of those old leaks, presenting us with old information and claiming it to be new?
What do you think? Would you like to see a Jurassic World with trailed, muzzled tamed Dinosaurs performing tricks for the park's visitors, then helping to fight the man made monstrosity that is the D-Rex when it begins to cause havoc?
